英国重量级游戏企业Eidos公司近期正式对外发表了《冠军足球经理2008(Championship Manager 2008)》。发行商透露，这款足球模拟新作将于2007年圣诞期间上市。
Eidos公司介绍，《冠军足球经理2008》将仍旧由英国游戏开发团队Beautiful Games Studios(BGS)制作，而且新作将在前作基础上引入更多创新元素。其中包括全新的用户界面、全新目录快捷键、全面3D化的游戏引擎。
《冠军足球经理2008》将提供最新的07-08赛季的球员转会阵容，游戏的皮肤，菜单快捷方式，玩家界面将会有非常大的改变，力求让玩家有和之前不同的感受。
Beautiful Game工作室宣称，这一代的比赛引擎将会有非常大的提升，提高真实度，通过分析球员在现实比赛中更惯于使用的打法，动作，使游戏中的球员更接近真正的球员。比如，一个球员在现实中喜欢交叉跑位，喜欢传一些直塞球，那么在游戏中他们也会尽力的这么做。
