原名Dennis Coles，并曾用Tony Starks,Iron Man等名发表作品的Ghostface Killah在1993年参加Wu-Tang Clan乐团专辑「Enter the Wu-Tang」录製工作，由於突出表现而成功躋身Wu-Tang Clan成员。接连在1996年的电影「Don't Be a Menace to South Central While You're Drinking Your Juice in the Hood」与「Sunset Park」两张原声碟中献声后，年底完成个人首张大碟『Ironman』，凭藉累积的声望，专辑发行首週直奔亚军席次，狂破百万销售纪录。首次单飞不解散的成功并没让Ghostface Killah汲汲扩展个人音乐事业，长达四年时间一直致力Wu-Tang Clan的专辑录製。2000年开始Ghostface Killah每一年都有专辑问世，创下八首英美两地排行畅销作品。
