Evig Natt是来自挪威西海岸的Karmøy岛（抱歉我是地理白痴）一支乐队，最早在2003年作为一个表演计划而成立，现在乐队成员为Stein Sund和Kirsten Jørgensen两人。

Kirsten负责女声演唱和旋律，Stein则负责其余的部分－－包括低吼的部分（－－！），音效合成，取样，吉他和贝司吉他。他们共同创作了大部分的曲子和歌词。他们的音乐灵感主要来自于Anathema, My Dying Bride和Swallow The Sun等乐队，Evig Natt音乐混合了黑暗，死亡，甚至有时候有一点前卫的元素，配上Kirstens美妙，古怪又具有实验性质的演唱和Stein疯狂的交响式编曲，说到这里，熟悉此类音乐的人应该已经能在自己头脑中对这个乐队的音乐有一个大概的印象了。

这是乐队的首张专辑，女声很棒，音乐也很大气，很不错的作品。

Evig Natt is a band hailing from the island of Karmøy, right at the westcoast in Norway.
They are currently a two piece band consisting of Stein Sund and Kirsten Jørgensen,
Starting out as a project in 2003.

Kirsten does the female singing and melodies, while Stein does the growling
and grim vocals, synth, sampling, guitars and bass guitar.
They write most of the music together, and likewise with the lyrics...

Their music is mainly inspired by Anathema, My Dying Bride & Swallow The Sun
whithout sounding like neither of them.
Evig Natt incorporate black, death and at times progressive elements.
Add to this Kirstens beautiful, peculiar and experimental singing,
and Stein`s maniac symphony arrangements and you should
have a general idea of what this sounds like.

At this writing moment Kirsten has just finished LIPA (Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts),
and Stein on the other hand is at home working with his two other bands Thundra and DwellingSouls.
He is also live session bassist in Throne Of Katarsis.
On his spare time, he also works in his own studio, Black Dimension Studio.

Evig Natt is now breaking out to the metal-scene with their debut cd "I Am Silence"
through Omvina Records April 16, 2007!
