Krieg是德语"战争"的意思歌词主题：憎恨、战争、毁灭Hate, War, Destruction 1995年组建于美国新泽西 Somers Point.

熟悉美国地下黑金属乐队的朋友都知道，KRIEG的音乐一向以速度和杀气为特点，有Metal Machine之称。由于第一张Rise of the Imperial Hordes的空前成功，因此很多地下黑金属唱片公司希望和他们合作。2001~2003年通过各种形式发表唱片，其中不乏平庸之作，和我一样很多人经历了对这个乐队从陌生到听说，从寻找唱片到听后的兴奋，最终到没有留下什么记忆而遗忘。实际上他们的乐队被太多雷同的临时作品辑给害了，回头看看他们所发行了3张正式专辑唱片都是非常优秀的。——摘自网络
